Attendance: Nolan, Glen, Casey, Sean, Jason, Kyle, Wayne, Joanna, Kristy, Nancy,Pudge, Kurtis
Absent: Jacquie
1) Ladies Auxiliary- Carol, Deanna, Charity
a) What their role will be, how will this year look for them
i) Don't have official executive
ii) Want to support CMHA in any fundraising activities, just need to reach out and ask. Willing to help with hockey tournaments, golf tournaments and dances
b) Organize and run the photo shoot for our hockey pictures.
i) Block out a schedule/day for all teams to have their pictures.
ii) Goal to have it done before Christmas, if possible
2) Mike Choinere: concern U18
a) 13 registered
b) 3 U18 rep from last year
c) We will look into options of what we can be done, in need of a coach
d) Jason will keep us informed after the OMHA meeting.
e) We could get a group together to run pre skates for them. No coach at this point
3) Confidentiality forms for everyone: Need to get Pudge
a) done!

5) Policy Manual Update: 10 minutes: Everyone will get a hard copy of requested changes
a) We will begin page 8, e, Did not get too, as meeting with Mike Choienere
6) Financial Report
a) No concerns with money
b) Paid insurance to OMHA insurance
c) Official Financial report was provided at the early August meeting
7) Registration:
a) tryout tickets: 85
b) U5: 7( 2 overagers)
c) U7:17
d) U8: 5
e) U9: 9- 6 tryouts tickets 6 and 1 U8 who wants to tryout
f) U11: 24- 19 tryouts + 6 (ROC)
i) 11 yes to second entry rep team
g) U13: 32- 28 tryout tickets + 1 (ROC)
i) 19 yes to second entry rep team
h) U15:18- 11 tryout tickets + 1 (ROC)
i) U18:13- 11 tryouts with a goalie
Looking to plan a meeting with parents of U11 and U13 to discuss the second entry rep team at Sept 11th ice. Need to declare official team numbers September 18.
8) Jersey Bar sponsor:
a) U11- Looking for a sponsor, will know more next meeting on numbers.
b) U13-Jesse Lee Electric, Nolan will ask if they are willing to switch to U13
i) Casey will get a letter for sponsor
9) Ice
a) Campbellford Ice
i) Still don't have plans to open the old arena and/or ice for October 15th, we are concerned about the timing and the process made.
ii) Casey will email council members the letter drafted by Jason
iii) We requested to be present at the next council meeting Sept 3.

a) Coaches rostered for tryouts
b) Anyone running tryouts has to be rostered need to have credentials

a) Booked for Saturday August 23- Nolan will take care of.

a) Table until next meeting to book a Halloween dance

a) EOMHL meeting tomorrow night
b) Addition league meeting on September 18 team declaration
c) Scheduling September 29 Stirling, league to begin October 4
16) LL Update
a) 11.4- suspensions for racial slurs, bitch and pussy will be a minimum 7 days
b) Goal spread was brought up, no discussion was allowed
c) 250 bond paid by Oct 8
d) $25 team fees
e) Scheduling meeting September 28
f) Gamesheet U7 coach will sign as a ref
g) Green arm band on refs who are young or inexperienced.
17) Development:
a) Brahaney's have been provided with the courses they need to take and are working on getting their police checks done.
b) Will come up with a game plan for goalies
18) Information night U5-U8 : Wednesday September 18, 2024
a) Upstairs at the arena-booked
b) Jen will be there
c) Outlining rules discussed in previous meeting
d) Jersey's, socks will be provided
e) What first time coach needs
f) Parents need to complete Respect in Sport before their child hit the ice
g) Try to send email blast through Wayne
19) Still trying to figure out how to set up email blasts.
