On Sunday, January 15 the Atom Colts played in the consolation semi-final game vs. The Bancroft Jets at the Kinsmen arena in Peterborough. Halfway through the second period, the power in the building went out and the ice surface was darkened suddenly. Each team was asked to go to the dressing room to remove skates only and we were to wait together as a team in the lobby with all other tournament participants. Despite the heat from their equipment and the adrenalin still pumping from the game, the Colts handled 45 minutes of waiting to then resume play and win 5-2 to advance to the consolation finals.
